Coaching
Jay Levin at Leading Solutions
I use coaching to help clients who are required to learn specialized or particular
skills that will enhance the quality of their lives and further their personal and
vocational interests and careers. Although similar to Organizational Development
work, coaching is more closely focussed on particular skills and resources required
by people to meet uniquely challenging situations and conditions of change and
adjustment in the workplace or with new life stages that are part of a normal
lifespan (e.g. retirement, job changes, etc.).
Unlike psychotherapy or personal counseling, coaching utilizes more techniques to
aid the client to find their own creative solutions to the challenges of normal
changes and situations where resources are limited.
Coaching is usually more solution-focussed and time-limited in practice.
